1. Introduction Welcome to TagName, a service provided by GetName Ltd. By using our service, you agree to these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
2. Scope of Service TagName is an international service available in multiple languages. We offer a free service that allows users to access URLs using customized words, known as “TagNames.”
3. Google Account Requirement To use TagName, you must have a Google account, as our system integrates with Google services.
4. TagName Specifications
- The minimum length for creating a TagName is four characters.
- Tags with one to three characters are reserved for TagName’s shortcut system.
5. Prohibited Activities You may not use our service for:
- Spamming
- Illegal activities
- Claiming personal names or trademarks you do not own
6. Inappropriate Content Prohibited content includes, but is not limited to:
- Words suggesting illegal activities (e.g., automatic weapons, cracked software)
- Defamatory, libelous, or threatening language
- Vulgar or obscene language
- Language advocating or glorifying torture, rape, or sexually explicit activities
7. Monitoring and Termination We do not tolerate fraudulent traffic generation. We reserve the right to delete your account and any associated TagName data without prior warning.
8. Discretionary Approval TagName reserves the right to disapprove any word or phrase you submit. We may report your ISP or the appropriate governmental agencies for any illegal activities committed using our service.
9. Editing Rights TagName may edit, change, delete, or modify any data submitted in the TagName database at any time without explanation.
10. Intellectual Property Rights By using TagName, you agree not to infringe upon any patents, trademarks, trade secrets, copyrights, or other intellectual property rights.
11. Amendments We may update these terms periodically. Users will be notified of any changes and are responsible for reviewing this Agreement regularly.
12. Law and Jurisdiction This Agreement is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where GetName Ltd. is registered.
13. User’s Responsibility You are responsible for regularly reviewing this Agreement. You may not use our service unless you agree to comply with these terms of service as updated from time to time.
14. Privacy Policy (Registered Members) The terms of this Privacy Policy apply exclusively to registered users of our services. If you use the TagName browser extension without registration, we do not collect any data from you.
15. IP Address We use your IP address to diagnose server problems and administer our service.
16. Registration Data Our registration form requires users to provide contact information such as name and email address. We use this information to send you updates about our services and to contact you when necessary.
17. Security We have security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, or alteration of personal information under our control.
18. Permitted Disclosures We may disclose personal information about you when such disclosures are specifically authorized by you or are necessary to comply with laws, dispute resolution processes, or this Agreement.
